Helene Harz

Helene Harz, 94, of Amarillo, passed away on August 15, 2021.

Helene was born on September 7, 1926 in Germany to Reinhart and Lydia Eichelburg. She received her education in Germany before coming to the United States. She was a very faithful member of the First Baptist Church and she enjoyed playing games. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great – grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John D. Harz and her son, Otto Harz.

She is survived by her son, Dieter Harz and his wife Candy; her daughter- in law, Kay Harz; her grandchildren, John Harz and his wife Traci, Bud Harz and his wife Christina, Christy Yates and her husband Cody, Mike Harz and his wife Colomba; her 14 great- grandchildren and 11 great great – grandchildren with 2 more great great - grandchildren on the way.
