Hattie Bell Sydor, 91, formerly of Amarillo, died on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her home in Anniston Alabama. She will be greatly missed.
Graveside Services will be 3:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2019 at Llano Cemetery with Darrell Burton officiating, Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors. Visitation will be Friday, November15th, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:00PM at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel.
Hattie Bell Sydor was born January 8, 1928 to Francis and Abbie Workman in Mauldin, AK. She grew up picking cotton and doing farm work, and helped take care of her younger brothers and sisters. As a child, she grew up in the church and her faith would continue to grow as she grew into adulthood. She loved to cook, sew and made quilts for many of her friends and family members. Hattie loved the outdoors and working in her gardens. She loved to watch Gunsmoke on TV. Hattie read her bible daily, which was something she took very seriously. Hattie had a huge faith and loved the Lord with all her heart. She will be standing at the pearly gates waiting for her family to join her. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters Cynthia Sydor and Joyce Kurnes.
Survivors include one daughter Janice Priest and husband Billy of Amarillo; three sons Roy Rosson of Missouri, Troy Rosson of Decatur, TX, Stephen Rosson and wife Amy of Anniston, AL and Stanley Capes and wife Mona of Anniston, AL; one brother Wayne Workman and wife Lynn of Kentucky; a host of Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Great- Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
