Harvey Vinyard "Shorty" Morris, Jr., 89 of Amarillo passed away on January 6, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 13, 2012 at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, Amarillo, TX.
Mr. Morris was born November 12, 1922 in Amarillo. He loved the outdoors, going fishing and taking long walks.
He was preceded in death by twins, Danny Joe and Jerry Lee Morris
His survivors include two daughters, Sandra Ducote and Susie Holmes, both of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Daniel Frost of Tahlequah, OK, Jeremy Frost of Williamsport, PA and Stephanie.
