Harvey George Dow (1944-2024)

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Harvey George Dow, a devoted husband, stepfather, friend, neighbor and retired Navy veteran, on August 6, 2024, at the age of 80.

He is survived by his loving wife Mistie B., stepchildren: Damien K., & Heavenly Blessing B, his stepchildren from his previous marriage Trinidad and Carmin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings and prior wife Gypsy.

These are but just a few of the cherished family and friends that Harvey made over his many years of being who he was. He is by far irreplaceable and was nothing short of a true God send to me and many more.

Harvey proudly served in the United States Navy, dedicating his life to protecting our nation. He retired with honors and received numerous awards for his exemplary service, including Decorations, Medals, Badges, Citations, and Campaign Ribbons:

- National Defense Service Medal

- Republic of Vietnam Service Medal

- Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal

- RVN Gallantry Cross

- Combat Action Ribbon

- Fleet Marine Force Combat Operations Insignia

- Battle "E" Ribbon (2)

- Meritorious Unit Commendation

- M-16AA Expert Rifle Qualification Badge Life and Legacy.

 Born in 1944, Harvey lived a life of service, honor, and love. After retiring from the Navy, he settled in Fritch, Texas, where he enjoyed his golden years surrounded by family and friends. Harvey's patriotism, kindness, and devotion will forever be cherished by those who knew him. Rest in Peace, Harvey George Dow your legacy and kind heart forever live on. You won’t ever be forgotten and will be dearly missed we ALL love you Harvey RIP. My true and only living Guardian Angel.

A Military Honors Service and Scattering Ceremony will be held at,

at 11am.
