Grace Mason, age 96, of Amarillo passed away June 3, 2013. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 10:30 am at Lagrone Blackburn-Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Rev. Steve Waterhouse officiating. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery.
Grace was born in Chicago, Ill. October 20, 1916 to William and Helen Kuzniki. She worked most of her life as a registered nurse. While working at Peninsula Hospital in California she met her husband of 70 years, Norman, whom she married in 1943. They spent most of their lives in California before returning to Amarillo in 2000. Grace also worked at Mills Hospital in California and worked at Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital. Preceding her in death are her parents and two brother and sister-in-laws Fran and Stella Kuzniki and Ray and Mary Kuzniki.
Left behind from her passing is her husband Norman of Amarillo, one daughter Gail Mason of California, a sister Winnie Fencl of Chicago and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver, Delores Gray and all of her Hospice Nurses.
