Marie was born Nov. 21, 1921, in Floyd County to Henry Herbert and Grace Irene Gross Graham. She graduated from Floydada High School in 1939. She married Flake Dillard in 1939, in Childress.
Marie was a charter member of South Lawn Baptist Church in Amarillo. There she taught Sunday school, vacation Bible school, and was WMU president for several years. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1969, where she was an active member of Kelham Baptist Church from 1969 until present. She assisted her husband, who was a Shamrock Jobber in Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and 2 brothers, Arthur and Ervin Graham.
Survivors include a daughter, Anita Honeycutt and husband Al of Oklahoma City; a son, Fred Dillard and wife Mary Anne of Arlington; two brothers, D.T. "Buddy" Graham and wife Jane of Plainview and Herman Graham and wife Bonnie of Floydada; a sister, Ima Lea Gamblin of Amarillo; two grandsons, Jay Dillard and Scarlette of Dallas, David Dillard and wife Felicia of Arlington; and three granddaughters, Julie Boenker and husband David of Fort Worth, Shelley Orchard and husband Brad of Oklahoma City and Jennifer Honeycutt of Dewey, Okla.; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews that dearly loved their aunt "Ree."
