Services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 in LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
Mr. Patel was born July 31, 1918 in Vadu, India. He graduated from Jamnagar Medical College in India. He was a Medical Doctor and had a family practice for over 30 years in India. He came to the United States in 1986 and had lived in Chicago, Phoenix and New Mexico before moving to Amarillo 2006. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Patel’s life was centered around his Hindu faith.
He is survived by his wife, Laxmiben Patel; three daughters, Pushpaben Patel, Nayanaben Patel and Kanak Patel; three sons, Navin Patel, Chandrakant Patel and Kirit Patel; a sister, Daiben Patel; two brothers, Prabhubhai Patel and Haribahi Patel, eleven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
