Glenna Jean Doose, 71, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on June 22, 2021.

Celebration of Life will be on June 29th, 2PM, at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw, 8310 S. Coulter Road, Amarillo, Tx 79119.

Glenna was born in Snyder, Texas to Red and Wanda Nobles on July 4, 1949. She attended graduated from Palo Duro High School during her years of education. She then later worked at Amarillo College, Amarillo Little Theatre, AIG, Capital Guardian in Chicago. She donated her time to Lone Star Ballet for many years.

She was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls which is a Masonic youth service organization which teaches leadership training through community service.

Glenna married Dennis Doose on February 24, 1989 in Panhandle, Texas.

She had an artistic eye and crafted costumes for the Lone Star Ballet. She enjoyed painting, gardening and decorating. She was Dance Captain of ‘Texas”, choreographed many musicals at Amarillo College and West Texas A & M. She enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers baseball team in her down time.

Glenna is preceded in death by her parents, Red & Wanda Nobles; her aunts, Carolyn Wells, Inez Paschal and uncle, Gerald Paschal.

She is survived by her husband Dennis Doose; her daughters, Tiffiny Stanfield Flaim and her husband Anthony Flaim, Keri Doose Ostermann and her husband Jason Ostermann; her siblings Mark Nobles and his wife Cindy Nobles and Gayle Nobles; her grandchildren, Grandchildren Emma & Luca Flaim, Madison Gleason Aranda & Conner Gleason; her niece, Megan Nobles; her nephew, Dusty Nobles; her cousin, Kim Mobley; her Great grandchildren, Emery & Elliana Aranda and her beloved chiweenie Judy.

When you think of Glenna, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and should be lived to the fullest.  She loved her family with all her heart and she wanted everyone to get along.
