Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Trinity Fellowship Church Chapel, 5000 Hollywood Road with Pastor John Love officiating.
Glenn Miller was born August 20, 1948 to Henry and Deloris Miller in Chicago, Illinois. Glenn served his country in the Army and after his discharge moved to Amarillo where he worked at the Western Bowl in the maintenance department. Glenn loved the Lord, his family, his friends and neighbors and especially his country. Fishing was one of Glenn’s favorite hobbies. He could fish for hours whether he caught anything or not. Glenn was especially good at playing the lottery and his sense of humor and the “Curly Shuffle” will be greatly missed by his extended family at the Western Bowl. Glenn brought laughter with him wherever he went.
Preceded in death by his parents, his brother Al and a nephew Jimmy.
Survivors include a sister Sherrie and Husband Richard of Amarillo, a brother Henry Miller Jr. of Littlefield, 4 nieces; Annie Stillings, Christie Miller and Stephanie Smyrl, all of Amarillo and Julie Stillings of Kentucky; 2 nephews; William Cordova of Amarillo and Mark Stillings of Kentucky.
