Memorial service will be at 10am on June 25th, 2013 at the LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home, Martin Road Chapel, 1501 Martin Road, Amarillo, Texas with Pastor Gary Snider of Friends and Family Worship Center and Servando Quintana officiating.
LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors of Amarillo are in charge of arrangements.
Gilbert was born in La Junta Colorado on September 9, 1949 unto Jose T. and Teresa Quintana and his grandfather Ramon L. Estrada. He lived in Hereford, Amarillo and Phoenix, AZ. Gilbert was a man of many talents and was willing to “go where the work was” in order to take care of his family. He loved poker and called himself the “King of scrabble”. He loved his family and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sandy Estrada and grandfather Ramon L. Estrada
He is survived by his mother Teresa Quintana, a daughter Sabrina Estrada, a son Adrian Estrada both of Amarillo and son Gilbert Estrada, Jr. of Denver, Co. three sisters Connie Lopez, Anna Marquez and Marsha Tijerina of Amarillo, two brothers Ramon and Servando Quintana and of Amarillo, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild
