Gerardo (Heders) Reyes, 49, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. He was born on September 14, 1971 In Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico to Martin Reyes and Rufina Tena Reyes.
Heders graduated from high school in Mexico. He was a construction worker and was also an entrepreneur. He loved his children, family, his dog Bruno, raising roosters and loved to watch soccer and football. He had a huge heart and was a very happy go lucky spirit. He always said he wanted to live 200 years like Count Dracula. He would give his shirt off his back to help anyone in need.
Heders was preceded in death by his mother, Rufina Tena Reyes.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia V.F. Reyes of Amarillo; his father, Martin Reyes of Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico; a daughter, Sandra Abigail Reyes of Amarillo, TX; a son, Gerardo Reyes Jr. of Amarillo, TX.; one brother, Reymundo Reyes; a sister, Mariscella Reyes of Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Heders will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He was one in a million that will forever be hard to find. He was an amazing son, father and friend. RIP Heders, we all love you very much!
Gerardo (Heders) Reyes, 49, de Amarillo, falleció el miércoles 13 de enero de 2021. Nació el 14 de septiembre de 1971 en Meoqui, Chihuahua, México, hijo de Martín Reyes y Rufina Tena Reyes. Heders se graduó de la escuela secundaria en México. Era trabajador de la construcción y también empresario. Amaba a sus hijos, a su familia, a su perro Bruno, criaba gallos y le encantaba ver fútbol y fútbol. Tenía un corazón enorme y era un espíritu muy feliz y afortunado. Toda su familia y amigos extrañarán mucho a Heders. Era uno en un millón que siempre será difícil de encontrar. Era un hijo, padre y amigo increíble. RIP Heders, ¡todos te queremos mucho!
