Georgia Traylor

Georgia Traylor, 95, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 in Amarillo.  She was born on September 16, 1925 in Golinda, TX to the late Eugene Scott and Selena Holmes Scott.  She was married to Lewis Traylor who preceded her in death.  Georgia was a former day care owner and was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church for 70 years, where taught Sunday School, served on the Usher Board and Culinary Committee.

She is survived by three daughters, Thais Nolen, Nadine Mitchell and Senetta Jones, all of Amarillo; one son, Ronald Traylor of Amarillo; 16 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Morris Mitchell officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors on Martin Road.
