George Martin "Sack" Farrington

October 24, 1945 — September 4, 2010

George Martin “Sack” Farrington was born on October 24, 1945 in West Fork, Arkansas to Martin VanBuren and Ethal Irene Farrington.  He graduated from high school in Elkhart and was proud to be an Elkhart “Wildcat”.  Mr. Farrington worked at the Campbell Soup Plant in Fayetteville, AR and at J&J Oilfield Service in Elkhart, KS and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Elkhart and New Sulpher Baptist Church in Praire Grove, AR.  Mr. Farrington was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.  He also loved working on cars and having coffee with family and friends.
Mr. Farrington is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jim Farrington and Bill Farrington; and a sister, Edna McDonald.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Carolyn Farrington; a son, Roger D. Pense and wife Tonya; two brothers, Stout Farrington and wife Vada of Elkhart, KS, and David Farrington and wife Dorothy of Guymon, OK; two sisters, Rose Watkins and husband Benny of May, AR, and Gloria Boaz and husband Rick of Fayetteville, AR, and 3 grandchildren, Danielle, Dylan and Kaylee Pense.
