Gene A. Reneau, 83, of Borger, former Amarillo resident, died on Friday, July 21, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 28, 2017 in Llano Cemetery wtih Mr. Kyle Pope of Olsen Park Church of Christ officating. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral
Gene was born on December 11, 1933 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas. Gene served in the United States Marie Corps. He served the Amarillo Community as a police officer for over 20 years. Gene was a member of Olsen Park Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Eileen and three sons, Gary, Bobby, and Rodney.
Gene is survived by two sisters, Barbara Smith and Jane Cobb; three brothers Hayse Reneau, Bill Reneau and Norman Reneau and several grandchildren.
