Frankie Leon Dale II, 57, of Amarillo passed on from this life on Friday, May 28, 2021. Frankie was born on July 23, 1963 in Amarillo, Texas to Frankie and Susie Dale. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1983. Frankie Then went to work for SPS in 1984 which later became Xcel Energy. He married the love of his life and best friend, Tammie Pendleton and they spent a wonderful 30 years together. Frankie participated in several Lineman Rodeos throughout the years with his co-workers. He and two other co-workers won 1st place at The Mile High Lineman’s Rodeo in 2010 in Denver, CO. As well as 1st place in Lubbock, Texas in 1996. Frankie loved to fish more than anything. He would often go to Leedey, OK to his dear friend “Frogs” to fish several times a year. He also enjoyed golfing. Frankie was always there for anyone no matter what. He took excellent care of his family and was so proud of his boys, bragging about them to any one he spoke to. Frankie enjoyed bringing laughter and joy to others with his ornery sense of humor. Anyone who ever met Frankie remembered him and he never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frankie Dale.

He is survived by his wife, Tammie Dale; his sons, Riley Dale and Braden Dale; his mother, Susie Dale; his sister, Sherry Lyons and husband Mike; his in-laws, James and Judy Pendleton; his brother-in-law, Jesse Pendleton and wife Karen; several nieces and nephews; his dear friend, Chester Owens of Leedey, OK and his beloved dogs, Duke, Dixie Rose and Millie.
