Frank married the love of his life, Jean Mayo on September 23, 1952 in Amarillo at St. Andrews Espiscopal Church and they were married for a wonderful sixty four years. Frank began his career as a teacher and Assistant Principal in Corpus Christi at Hamlin Jr. High and then at Moody High School. Frank and Jean moved to Amarillo and Frank was an economics teacher at Tascosa High School. Frank was the unofficial photographer for Tascosa. Frank never stopped learning and an example of this was he decided to learn to read music and play the piano at the age of sixty five. He played the saxophone in the Khiva Shriner's band and was a 32nd degree Mason who loved to read and he kept up with current events and history.
Jean and Frank would go dancing every Saturday night at the Amarillo Club and Frank would fill in with the band if they needed him. He loved to travel and their favorite destination was to New York City making the trip seven times and they also traveled to France. Frank was a man of strong faith and always attended church or watched services on Sunday morning. TOP DRAWER are the words that describe this husband and educator.
He is survived by his wife, Jean and his niece, Carol.
Let nothing disturb you; nothing frighten you. All things are passing. God never changes. Patience obtains all things. Nothing is wanting to him who possesses God. God alone suffices.
