Franky Zamora passed away Holy Rosary will be read at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery.
Franky was born on March 1, 1979 in Abilene to Julian and Simona Zamora. He attended school in Amarillo, graduating from Palo Duro High School in 1998. He was employed with J. Lee Milligan where he drove a truck for over 8 years. Franky was a fantastic father to his children, lovingly filling the role of a single father. He was exceptionally close with all of his family, especially his siblings. Franky had a smile that touched everyone around him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Milinda Estrella in 2008.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Julian and Simona Zamora of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Angel Castillo and Dulce Zamora both of Amarillo; 2 sons, Julian and Francisco Zamora both of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Vickie Trinh and husband John of Amarillo and Norma Jaquez and husband Rodolfo of San Antonio; 3 brothers, Freddie Jaquez, Ricky Zamora and wife Crystal of Amarillo and Harvey Zamora of Amarillo.
