Florencio was born on April 26, 1931 to Esequiel and Marcella Lucero in Chaperito, New Mexico. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1951, serving in the Korean Conflict until his discharge in 1953. He married Beneranda Trujillo in 1955in Hereford, TX. They spent 54 wonderful years together. Florencio loved farming, fishing, and scratching lottery tickets. He had a passion for spending time with his family every chance that he had. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and son. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include daughters, Rosalinda Gallegos, Vickie Sanchez, JoAnn Saavedra, Yolanda Sanchez, Yolanda Sotello, and Gloria Vasquez

Sisters: Sadie, Soccoro, Mary Gallegos, Rosarito Morales
Brothers: Margarito, Epifanio, Fred, Bennie, Jose, Joe Lucero
29 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Beneranda Lucero, two sons; Arthur and Florencio Jr., four brothers and one sister.
