Federico "Freddie" Sandoval

Federico “Freddie” Sandoval, 70 of Amarillo passed away on November 26, 2011.
Rosary will be at 6:30 pm on Monday, November 28, 2011 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, Amarillo, TX.
The funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1210 SE 11th with Father Jose Gomez officiating and burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Freddie was born on September 24, 1941 in Tucumcari, NM to Emilio and Lala Sandoval. He was raised in Amarillo where he attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School and had lifelong attendance at the church there. Freddie worked in the cement construction field, retiring from Alan Brooks around 2005. He adored his nieces and nephews and always made them smile with his jokes and sayings. He will be greatly missed by his entire family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Luis, Leonard and Jesse Sandoval.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Andrew Romero of Denver, CO; 4 brothers, Marcos Sandoval and wife Lisa, Johnny Sandoval and wife Angela, Cleo Sandoval and wife Cris and Tony Sandoval and wife Rosie; sister, Juanita Cortez and Carmen Cortez and husband Joe; numerous nieces and nephew, all of Amarillo.
