Faithe Reyes, 55, of Amarillo died on Thursday, April 2, 2015. Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 6, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Faithe Reyes was born on February 11, 1960 in Virginia Beach, VA to John and Ellamae Bergstresser. She proudly served her country in the United States Army and married the love of her life, Fabian "Ray" Reyes on July 26, 1983 in San Antonio. She worked in retail at several stores in Amarillo. Faithe loved gardening, cooking, music and the beach. One of her greatest joys was taking care of others. For 20 years, she tended to military personnel and their families in times of need.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Fabian "Ray" Reyes; a son, Matthew Reyes and wife Elizabeth of Amarillo, a brother, John Bergstresser of Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters, Gail Gavin of Pensacola, FL, Jalene Bergstresser of Palm Harbor, FL and Geri Bergstresser of Virginia Beach, VA
