Eusebio Nunez Martinez, of Amarillo, died December 17, 2013.
Rosary will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 PM Friday, December 20, 2013 at St. Laurence Catholic Church with Father Roberto Cabrera as celebrant. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Martinez was born December 16, 1949 in Cuidad Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico to Pedro Martinez and Pascuala Nunez Martinez. He moved to Amarillo in 1991 and worked as a migrant worker until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Martinez and Pascuala Nunez Martinez, 3 brothers Pedro Jr., Vicente and Porfirio Martinez; and 1 sister Sandra Lydia Martinez.
Mr. Martinez is survived by 6 daughters Amanda Saucedo of Amarillo, TX Esmeralda Ruiz, Celia Valencia, and Maricruz Martinez of Atwater, CA, Imelda Vivero of Madera, CA and Almarosa Prieto of Merced, CA; 2 sisters Teresa Soto and Maria Zarate of Amarillo, TX, 1 brother Gustavo Martinez of San Antonio, TX; 18 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
