Eufemia Larrea de Sanchez

Eufemia Larrea de Sanchez, 67, of Amarillo passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, June 8, 2020 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Burial will follow in Llano East Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Sunday, June 7, 2020.

Eufemia was born on May 20, 1953 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Ernesto and Monseraat Larrea. She worked for Unifirst until she retired. Eufemia loved to go shopping at garage sales and she was always hosting tupperware and Mary Kay parties for her friends and family. She was a great cook known for chili rojo, menudo and tamales and she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Manuel Sanchez and a brother, Felipe Larrea.

She is survived by her son, Ernesto Baquera and his wife Vanessa; her daughter, Viviana Sanchez; three sisters, Anita Larrea, Ernestine Larrea Gonzalez and Manuela Larrea; four brothers, Nicasio Larrea, Mario Larrea, Roque Larrea and Francisco Larrea; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
