Ernie Romero Samora

Ernie Samora Passed away on August 11, 2023, at the Ranch surrounded by family. He was born in Amarillo to Joe and Carmen Samora on June 12, 1953.

He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and cooking. He was also known to have a “green thumb”. Ernie loved watching his favorite team The Oakland Raiders and drinking his favorite beer Bud Light. He was married to Erlinda Samora for 32 years.

Ernie is survived by his wife Erlinda, kids Johnny Samora, Destiny Compos, Sarah Martinez, Adam Martinez, Freddie Martinez, Conrad Pina, Hillary Pina, Carmen Jackson and Sophia Samora, 20 grandkids and 12 great-grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Carmen Samora, two brothers Rudy Samora, Micheal Samora, two sisters Romona Martinez, Carolin Lujan, a son Ernesto Pena, and a grandson Aaron Samora.
