Ernest Levi (Lee) Webster

Ernest Levi (Lee) Webster 75 of Amarillo, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church , 1300 E Central Ave, with Pastor Hershel Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Ernest was born on August 12, 1939 in Shamrock, Texas to Arnold and Laverne Webster. He married Judith Dalton on April 11, 1969 in Amarillo, where they raised six children together.
He joined the Army National Guard in November 1956 where he was a member of the boxing team. He served until he was honorably discharged in 1959.
Ernest proudly formed Valley Landscaping in 1971 where he was the owner/operator until his youngest son acquired the business in 2002.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. Most of all he loved being with his family and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lanelle Brogdon.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years; his children, Charles Sargent and wife Ronda of Benkelman, NE, Gene Webster of Amarillo, Jody Webster and wife Sunday or Amarillo, Sharla Abbott and husband Jeff of Amarillo, Tracy Trok and husband Greg of Farmington, MN, Shannon Garcia and husband Scott of Amarillo; 25 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Joe Webster and wife Debbie of Amarillo, Bobby Webster and wife Carol of San Marcos, Texas; and a sister Reba Baldwin and husband Robert of Amarillo.
The Family would like to thank Dr. Jesus Sahad for the many dedicated years of care and service provided; Dr. Ahmad Mashafi and the staff of Plum Creek Hospital for their care and support.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:30 – 6:30 pm, Friday, February 6, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.
