Eric Damian Cox

Eric Damian Cox, age 28, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.  He was born January 22, 1996 in Amarillo, TX.   He was a 2014 graduate of Canyon High School.  He worked as a welder, taking great pride in working with his hands.  He enjoyed life’s simple pleasers, fishing, eating, camping, riding and spending time with friends and family.  Let’s not forget driving anything with an engine, like he stole it.  Despite his tough exterior, he loved deeply.  Even when he was making fun of you, you felt loved, and you never knew how much you needed one of his hugs until he let you go.  He is survived by his grandfather Vernon Cox; father John Cox, mother Kelly Cox, his daughter Emerson Cox; Sisters Amber Danner, Lesley Cox, Brothers Gregory Kirk and Nathan Cox.  He will be happily laid to rest next to his Grandmother Susie Cox and Uncle Donnie Cox.
