Eileen Elizabeth Jordan

On April 3, 2025, our mother, Eileen McDermott Jordan joined our father, Mike Jordan, in heaven. Eileen was born on August 27, 1936, in Bronx, New York to parents: Martin and Mary McDermott. Eileen met Mike, the love of her life, and they married on October 12, 1957. They raised four daughters: Terry Jordan-Khammash who resides in Arlington, Texas, Mary Owens who resides in Nacogdoches, Texas, Eileen Ward who resides in Salvisa, Kentucky and Michelle Jordan who resides in Carrollton, Texas.

Our family lived in Port Jefferson Station, New York until 1977; thereafter, we went on an adventure and moved to Arlington, Texas. Over the years, the family grew. Terry and her late husband, Ahmad Khammash raised four children: Michael, Daniel, Joseph, and Janine. Mary raised her three children: Ryan, Amy, and Justin; her husband, Bubba Owens, Eileen, and husband Ronnie Ward, raised their three children: Jordan, Camron, and Mikia. The family continues to grow, and Eileen has twenty great-grandchildren.

Eileen was a wonderful mother and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a zest for life and a love for shopping and I mean a love for shopping! No one appreciated a coupon or 50% off sign more than Mom. She was a frequent visitor to thrift stores and Kohl’s Department Store (Kohl’s cash!). After a good day of bargain hunting, she would top it off with an enjoyable lunch. She had eighty-eight wonderful years, and so many people that loved her. We are so fortunate that she was our mom. We love you Mom, and we will miss you dearly.
