His services will be at 10 a.m. today in Comanche Trail Church of Christ with Ira Dozier officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park

Mr. Ortega was born June 18, 1962, in Fort Worth. He grew up in Amarillo and attended Caprock High School. He married Robin Fore on Mar. 24, 1997, in Amarillo. Eddie had a
servant’s heart and loved people and had a passion for serving the Lord. At the time of his death, he was senior pastor of Community
Fellowship Church at 1944 S.E. 10th Ave. He was very proud of his family, loved spending time with them and sharing his talent for being a great cook. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fidel Ortega.
Survivors include his wife, Robin; a daughter, Lauren and fiance Randy Cazarez; a son, Joshua Ortega; his mother, Genevieve Ortega; a sister, Abby Ortega; and a niece, Erin Garcia, all of
