Edith was born on November 11, 1938 in Amarillo, Texas to C.C. and Ora Gee. She grew up in Amarillo where she graduated from high school. Edith worked as an administrative assistant for the Dean of Business at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. She attended Comanche Trail Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
She is survived by a son, Randy Davidson, of Amarillo; a daughter, Lisa Hawley, of Fayetteville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Andrew Hawley and Ashley Hawley, both of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
