Edith Lucille Blessen, 89, of Amarillo died on Thursday, December 4, 2014. Private graveside services were held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Edith was born on June 26, 1925 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Alvin Henery McAnally and Lona Gertrude Hollingsworth. She was married to Cal Blessen for many years, and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cal, a brother Pete McAnally and a sister Audean Beautisto.
Edith is survived by her son, Bryon Pruitt of Ft. Worth, Texas, a nephew, Gary McAnally of Amarillo, Texas, and many other nieces and nephews.
