Dwight Rashad Royal, Jr.

Dwight Rashad Royal, Jr. passed away on November 20, 2021.  He was born on April 12, 1988 in Amarillo to Dwight Royal, Sr. and Louine Dever.

He graduated from Palo Duro High School, where he played football and basketball.  He enjoyed attending church, loved the Lord and loved spreading the Word of God.  He enjoyed hanging out with his family and enjoyed life to the fullest.  He loved to write, cars and the Cowboys.

He is survived by his wife, Abby Royal; children, Anthony Royal, ATara Royal, Emmanuel Royal and Arrisa Adams; father, Dwight Royal, Sr.; mother, Louine Dever-Robbins; siblings, Landry Bunningham and wife Kenda, Gabriel Ford and wife Gabriella, Candice Royal and Courtney Rayford; one grandmother, Bertha Dever-Jefferson.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Power Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home, 8310 S. Coulter, Amarillo, TX  79119.
