Duane Gordon Trimble passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 92. He was born on January 29, 1932, in Shamrock, Texas to Lee and Hazel Trimble.
He led a remarkable life filled with dedication and service, a skilled tradesman of various trades who later embarked on a long and fulfilling career with Yellow Freight Trucking, He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a testament to his patriotism.
Duane's legacy lives on through the memories shared by his surviving family and friends. He is survived by beloved wife of 50 years, Kay, his brother Edward, daughters Dianne and Donna, son James, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, his stepdaughters Cara Sue, Debbie, Lisa, Connie; fourteen step-grandchildren; twenty-nine step great-grandchildren; and a host of supportive in-laws from the Trimbles’, Lucases’, Cyperts’, Healers’, Handys’, Pachecos’, Gibbses’, Stouts’, Urtons’, Wilsons’ and Hoopers’.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Hazel (Holcomb) Trimble, brothers James and David Lee, sister Maudine; as well as his daughters Theresa, Tammye Lee, and Debbie Jo.
Duane's dedication to his craftsmanship and unwavering commitment to his family will always be remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
