Mrs. Dorothy Rita Provost, 75 passed away on May 10, 2011.
Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2011 in LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road with Rev. Willy Montano officiating.
Mrs. Provost was born Dec. 27, 1935 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Walter and Frances Koza. She grew up in Worchester and was married to Eugene Provost for 42 years. She was a homemaker and had lived in Amarillo for over 35 years. She was a talented interior decorator. Dorothy attended St. Laurence Catholic Church and she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joannie.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene, three sons, Viedo Giedraitis of Worcester, Mass, Tony Giedraitis and his wife Tiffany of Tucson, AZ, Geno Provost of Amarillo and three daughters, Maria Bowman and her husband, Mike of Amarillo, Cindy Dyer and her husband Gary of Casper, WY., and Cheryl Bartlett and her husband Mike of Amarillo, 14 Grandchildren, Madelyn, Macy, Hannah, Kaitlyn, Abbey, Jennifer, Billy, Charlene, Melissa, Tammy, Tori, Taylor, Leland, Laci, 9 Great-Grandchildren, Saralyn, Lexi, Reese, Ava, Isabella,
Makayla, Anthony, Kylianna, Kameron, four brothers; Johnny, Freddie, Wally and Frances and a sister Carol.
The family suggests memorials to Olivia’s Angels in care of BSA Hospice.
