Dorothy Mae Bradshaw, 91, of Amarillo died on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Steve Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Dorothy was born on October 24, 1924 in Mangum, OK to Claude and Exie Dodson. She married Walter Bradshaw on April 27, 1942 in Houston. Dorothy worked at WT Grants and at several cafeterias for Amarillo Independent School District. She was also a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. Dorothy was a member of Eastridge Baptist Church and Bykota Baptist Church. She was very involved with the church and could always be found teaching Sunday school.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Walter, one sister and two brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley McKee and husband Ronald of Amarillo; three sons, Robert Bradshaw and wife Neva of Odessa, Roger Bradshaw and wife Lorie of McKinney and Jimmy Bradshaw and wife Candy, of Amarillo and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
