Doris Huelene Ardoff, 78, of Amarillo, died on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Life celebration service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel with Melvin Fowler officiating. A private family burial will be held at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Huelene was born on March 6, 1939 in Amarillo, Texas to Huel Lee and Loraine Hulsey. She attended school in Amarillo where she graduated from Palo Duro High School in May of 1957. She met the love of her life Roger William Ardoff and they were married in Amarillo on November 3, 1957. She worked as a secretary for Dialysis Specialist of Amarillo for 9 years until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger, a grandson Roger James Ardoff.
Mrs. Ardoff is survived by her children, Lorri Witt and husband Bart, David Ardoff and Robyn Solis ; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Witt, Donny Witt and Michelle Ritter, Christopher Witt and wife Cynthia, Veronique Witt, Olivia Solis, Gabriella Solis, and Jessica Witt; seven great grandchildren, Andy, Nicholaus, Madison, Michael , Rylan, Sean and Kaiden Witt; a brother, David Hulsey; a sister Bette Montgomery and husband Jerry; sister in law, Jan Hulsey; a niece Holly Stone; nephews, Jerry Paul Montgomery, Brian Montgomery and Michael Hulsey.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.
