Donna Kay Moore, age 71, of Amarillo passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. A time for the family to receive friends will be Friday, February 7, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 am at Arden Road Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Bigham, pastor and Stanley Baker, officiating. Interment services will be at 3:00 pm at Wheeler Cemetery.
Donna was born in Wheeler to Howard and Sammie Caswell on October 6, 1942. She spent most of her life in Wheeler helping her husband Darrell with the ranching chores and raising their family. Her children and grandchildren were her world.
Donna is survived by her husband Darrell of Amarillo, two daughters Darla and husband Craig Brooks of Midland, Judy and husband Jack McCuthcheon of Lubbock and two sons David and wife Monica Moore and Ted and wife Linda Moore both of Amarillo. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Travis Brooks, Trista Brooks, Ashley McCutcheon, Taryn McCutcheon, Jordan Moore, Carson Moore, Colt Moore, Kyle Moore and Jessica Moore and her great grandchildren Brogan McCutcheon and Zoey Moore. Also surviving her is her Mother Sammie Caswell of Elk City, OK. and her three sisters Carol Hogan of Abilene, Gale Massey of Flower Mound and Debra Morris of Elk City, OK.
