Donald Gene Triplett, 71, of Amarillo died Friday, December 5, 2014. Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm, December 13, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Don Triplett was born on December 3, 1943 in Mutual, Oklahoma to Arvin and Nora Triplett. Don worked and retired from Owens Corning. He was an avid collector of many different things and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arvin and an infant twin brother and a sister in law Georgia Triplett.
He is survived by his mother, Nora Triplett of Mutual, OK; three brothers, Charles Triplett and wife Sue of Amarillo, Bill Triplett and wife Betty of Canyon and Richard Triplett of Mutual, OK; a stepson, Dwayne Kibodeaux of Louisiana; a daughter in law Jennifer Cromier; grandchildren Ptrick, Kaitlan and Nicholas Kibodeaux, all of Jennings, LA; and many nieces and nephews including one great nephew and a great great niece. Until we meet again, many hugs and kisses.
The family requests that no flowers be sent and donations be made to a favorite charity.
