Donald Wayne Thompson 62, of Amarillo, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Donald was born February 4, 1958 in Sacramento, California to William (Bill) and Lois Thompson. Donald was a very good car salesman. He was very funny and had a nickname for everyone he met. He loved his kids and loved to entertain people.
He is preceded in death by both his parents and brother, Steve Thompson.
Donald is survived by his loving companion, Ella (Sissy) Millwood; two sons, Mike Thompson of Amarillo, TX and Matt Thompson of Eden, TX; two daughters, Misty Thrasher of Amarillo, TX and Megan Thompson of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Laticia Parker and husband Garry and Linda Conder; six grandchildren and his K-9 buddy, Zoe Dakota.
The family asks that memorial contributions be to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the American Caner Society.
