Don Thai Thi Hoa Nguyen

Don Thai Thi Hoa Nguyen passed away on September 29, 2023, in Amarillo, Texas.

She was born on February 28, 1982, in Vietnam and came to the United States in 2015.  Her parents are Tai Van Nguyen and Lich Thi Truong and her husband is Loc Van Nguyen.  She was the third child of seven. She has two daughters, Thy Nguyen and Thuy Nhu Nguyen.

Don was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her father.  She is survived by her husband and two daughters.

She was a very quiet, but friendly lady.  She was a loving mother to her daughters and a loving wife to her husband.  She was a hard worker and loved to travel and explore new places.  Even though she was quiet, she loved to play Vietnamese Bingo and even earned the nickname “Machine Gun” because she called the numbers out quickly so she could win.  She also enjoyed Karaoke and getting together with friends to hang out on the weekend.
