Lynn Denise Ritchardson, 49, of Amarillo died Friday, June 1, 2012.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel with the Rev. Chris Baggett, pastor of Experience Life of Amarillo, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park
Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
Lynn Denise was born Dec. 29, 1962, in Amarillo to Jerry and Betty Hodan. She went to be with her Lord on Friday after a valiant battle with cancer.
Lynn Denise spent most
of her young childhood in Amarillo, attending Amarillo Independent School District schools. She moved from Amarillo to Colorado Springs, Colo., and from Colorado Springs to Mesa, Ariz., with her mother’s job.
In her adult life, she lived in Amarillo, Fritch and Mesa. She worked at Brit Care
and Custom Maids until opening her own house cleaning business.
Lynn Denise will be missed by all. She will be forever remembered and loved in the hearts of many.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center and Odyssey Hospice for their care, compassion and treatment during Lynn Denise’s battle.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her
partner, Rob Brown; three sons, Wesley Ritchardson, Christopher Ritchardson and Nicholas Ritchardson and wife Misty, all of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Nola, Madden, Addyn, Rylle and Brison; three aunts, Brenda Wagner and husband Larry, Lonita Leal and husband Dan and Denice Stout, all of Amarillo; her son’s father, Mike Ritchardson; many cousins and their families; a host of friends; and her special caregiver, Amanda Bowers.
