Deborah Lee (Purdue) Walsh

Deborah Lee Walsh passed away February 27, 2022 in Amarillo.  She was born April 23, 1961 in St. Louis, MO to Robert Roy Purdue Sr. and Jacqueline Ruth Dustan-Rooney.  She graduated from Parkland High School in 1979 as the Valedictorian.  She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences at West Texas A&M University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in the Class of 2001. She was a mother of 4 under the age of 5 and all survived.  Deborah married Donald Wayne Walsh Jr. in Canyon on October 5, 2011.  She was employed as a Quality Engineer Advisor at Pantex.  Deborah was a member of Pantex Christmas Project, Evelynn Rivers Project and volunteered at the Soup Kitchen.  She also taught CCD at St. Thomas Catholic Church.  Deborah was a BIG Dallas Cowboys fan and loved gardening, music, playing board games and most of all spending time with her family.

Deborah was preceded in death by her mother and mother in law, Barbara Ann Walsh.

She is survived by her father, her father in law, Donald Wayne Walsh Sr. and wife Melody; her husband, Donald Wayne Walsh Jr.; her siblings, Robert Roy Purdue Jr.(Patrice), Dawn Lynne Purdue, Ronald Earnest Purdue (Diane) and Bobby Dale Walsh; her children, Nicholas Xavier Ramirez (Katherine), Katrina Desiree Henderson (Devin), Sophia Michelle Lynch (Travis), Lillian Ann Turner (Chandler), Hayden Scott Walsh (Adrianna), and Brittany Gayle Walsh; her nieces and nephews, Ryan (Allyson), Joshua (Sheena) and Megan Purdue, Ronald Lopez (Jenny), Desiree and Brandon Ransdell, Christopher (Lacey), Justin (Ashley), and Emily Purdue, Carson and Danica Walsh; her grandchildren, Kinsley and Elizabeth  Henderson, Benjamin and Connor Lynch, Delaney Dean-Ramirez, Liam and Elliot Turner and  Henry Walsh.
