David G. Welch, 54, of Amarillo died on Thursday, February 2, 2017. Memorial services will be at 3:00 pm, Monday, February 6, 2017 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
David was born on January 10, 1963 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Max and Mary Welch. He graduated from Caprock High School and then attended TSTI where he obtained his refrigeration certification. David worked for Fleet Refrigeration, Thermo-King and Affiliated Foods. He liked to go fishing. listening to old classic rock and he really enjoyed going to Palo Duro Canyon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Max Welch.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Welch; a sister, Diane Wilson and husband Randy; two brothers, Mark Welch and wife Suzanne and Tim Welch and numerous nieces and nephews.
