David Dean Spruill

David Dean Spruill, 67, of Plainview, passed from this life on July 27, 2019, surrounded by members of his family.

His life will be celebrated on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.  Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors.

David was born November 18, 1951 in Memphis, Texas to Jimmy and “Jeri” (Wainwright) Spruill.  He married the love of his life, Phyllis Harrell, in Canadian, Texas on December 17, 1971.

David’s passion was restoring damaged photos and bringing them back to life.  He enjoyed rebuilding computers and the study of martial arts!

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Spruill and his brothers, Donnie and Jimmie Spruill.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his bride of 48 years, Phyllis Spruill of the home; his beloved mother, Jeri Carter; three children, Kimberly Moore of Athens, Tennessee, Christina Spruill of Amarillo and David Spruill of Athens, Tennessee.  He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved him so very much.
