David was born in Clearwater Florida on Nov. 18, 1955 unto Clyde Leon and Evelyn McGinty Ezell. He was raised and educated in Amarillo graduating from Caprock High School in 1974. David served in the US Army. During his enlisted time he participated in three tours in Germany and two in Korea. David received an honorable discharge after serving his country for 17 years. David became a veteran member of Operation “Just Cause” in 1988. He then worked a warehouse Manager for Frank’s Repair Plumbing and Timeless Designs for 10 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and watching sports
Preceded in death by his father Clyde Ezell and step father Woody Stovall
Survivors include his Mother Evelyn Stovall , two sons, Shiloh Ezell of St. Joseph, MO. And DJ Ezell of Amarillo. One daughter Destiny Ainsworth of Amarillo, three brothers, Andy, Roy and Robert Ezell of Amarillo, and two sisters, Kathy Craft of Las Vegas Nev. and Cori Meyer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. One grandson Dante of Amarillo
Family has request memorials be mad to the American Lung Foundation and Interim Hospice of Amarillo.
