Danny Alvaro Galvan, 59, of Fritch, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2019, surrounded by his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2019 at St. Laurence Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East. A Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.
Danny was born on October 17, 1960 in Stamford, Texas to Elpidio and Guadalupe (Ruiz) Galvan. He married the love of his life, Deborah Bullard in October 1998. Together they had one son, Chandler Elpidio Galvan.
Danny grew up in Anson, Texas, surrounded by his loving family; the Galvan’s, Flores’ and Ruiz’s who all shared their love for family. He had a sharp sense of humor and quick wit. He was a delight to his nieces and nephews who all loved him so much. Danny worked as a mechanic at Payton Machine and Supply for over 21 years. Everyone who knew him will miss Danny.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Elpidio Galvan; his grandparents, Pedro and Tanislada Galvan and Margarito and Angelita Ruiz; his uncle, Elias Galvan and cousin, Bobby Galvan.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deborah (Bullard) Galvan and his son, Chandler Elpidio Galvan; four sisters, Janie Ramos and husband Carlos, Irma Garcia and husband Alvin, Margie Galvan and Diana Galvan and one brother, Juan Pedro “Pete” Galvan and wife, Susie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
