Graveside services will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11am at Llano cemetery in Amarillo with Senior Minister Jim Shelburne officiating. The family will receive guest at the funeral home on Friday November 9 from 6-8pm. Crystal was born October 11, 1977 in Amarillo to Leslie and Joann Holman. She was baptized on August 7, 1988 at Washington Avenue Christian Church here in Amarillo. She grew up in Amarillo and attended Caprock High School. She worked in the restaurant industry for many years. She married Timothy Lee Grogan on September 27, 2003. Crystal was a kind and loving Mother, always putting her children first. She liked to travel and see new things. Her loves for animals was apparent by all the dogs, cats and pets she always had. Since childhood she never met anyone that she didn't love. The family will miss her sweet smile and gentle nature but we take comfort in knowing that she is in heaven with all those that have gone home before her.
She is survived by her parents, four sisters, Lara Vaughan and husband Greg of Frenship, Anna Guelde, Tina Holman and Toni Hughes and husband Bryan of Amarillo. Two brothers, Randy Houk and wife April of Amarillo and Mickey Houk and wife Leigha of New Braunfels, Texas, three children Maryjo Chere of West Lafayette, Indiana, Regina Crystal of Houston and Jaypheth Leslie of Amarillo. A grandmother Dolores Weeks of Johnstown, PA and a special aunt Mary Smith of West Lafayette, Indiana. Many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
