Colleen Lookingbill

Colleen Lookingbill, 84, of Amarillo passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 surrounded by family. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, Sunday, January 26, 2020 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 27, 2020 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Bob Miller officiating.

Colleen was born on May 29, 1935 in Clayton, New Mexico to John and Waunita Fulkersin. Colleen was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed planting beautiful flowers in her garden and maintaining them through the year. Colleen would often say that she was helping God beautify the Earth. She adored her animals sometimes more than people. Colleen was wonderful at fishing and really enjoyed spending time fishing with family and friends. She was a great friend who kept in touch with everyone over the years. Colleen loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Waunita Fulkersin; two husbands, Clifton D. Pylant and George F. Lookingbill; three brothers, Bill Fulkersin, Robert D. Fulkersin and A.J. Fulkersin; a daughter, Gay Lawrence.

She is survived by her children, Paula Lawrence, Ted Lawrence and wife LaDeana and Harley Lawrence and wife Teresa; one brother, Jim Fulkersin and wife Diane; ten grandchildren, David Lawrence, Ted Lawrence, Tearenei Lawrence, Lexie Davis, Logan Lawrence, Cheyenne Gordan, Dakota Lawrence, Kasey Dearman, Samantha Stephens and Luke Lawrence; ten great-grandchildren.
