Clifford L. Pruett III, 67, of Amarillo, passed on from this life surrounded by loving family on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 18, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Lyndal Waldrip.
Cliff was born on March 11, 1952 in Hutchinson County, Texas to Clifford and Jean Pruett. He married the love of his life Debbie Wheeler on July 25, 2001 in South Fork, Colorado. Cliff worked for Pantex for 37 years retiring in the spring of 2018. He enjoyed playing golf, going fishing and tending to his yard. Cliff loved traveling and making people laugh. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Pruett; a son, Shane Helms and wife, Amber; a daughter; Heather Nickleberry and husband, Courtney; seven grandchildren, Ethan, Kris, Mason, Cambree, Ashlee, Cambron and Cheree; seven great-grandchildren; and many wonderful cousins.
