Clarence Odell "Sparky" Sparkman
January 3, 1924 - January 8, 2015
Clarence "Sparky" Sparkman was born on January 3, 1924 in Haskell to John and Sally Sparkman. Sparky married the love of his life, Juanita on December 2, 1943 in Haskell. He proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. Clarence and Juanita were members of Trinity Baptist Church for over 60 years. He was a salesman for Motorola Communications until he retired in 1987. Sparky and his wife, Juanita loved to travel to the mountains. He loved spending time with his family and loved to buy and sell cars. He was also an avid reader. After retiring, he became the best chauffer in the world to his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Juanita and a son Terry.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Tracye Henderson of Amarillo and two great grandchildren, Berkley Henderson and Hayden Henderson, both of Amarillo.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 2 - 4 pm at 6011 Calumet.
