Memorial services will be at 2:00PM Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home Coulter Road Chapel. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Cindy Jo Carter was born September 30, 1958 in Portales NM to Johnny and Betty Jo Wossum. Cindy was a lifelong resident of Amarillo. She enjoyed all outdoor activities such as gardening and fishing. She lived her life for her friends and family and was always there for anyone who needed her. Her three grandchildren were everything to her and she lived her life for them. The family would like to send a special thank-you to all the nurses of 3rd floor women’s center of BSA hospital.
Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo Wossum.
Cindy is survived by her father, Johnny Wossum, a brother, Randy Wossum and wife Rosemary, a daughter, Brittney Farley and husband Beau, 3 grandchildren, Avery, Kennedie and Carter Farley, two nieces and a nephew.
The family suggests memorials be made to Harrington Cancer Center of Amarillo.
