Chyrl Jean Ramon, age 69, of Amarillo passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. A time for the family to receive friends will be Monday, April 14, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 10:00 am at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Rev. Jerry Davey officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Chyrl was born July 30, 1944 in La Junta, CO. to Glen H. and Lola G.(Lynch) Winters. She graduated from Bent County High School in Las Animas, CO. She married the love of her life Jesse Ramon December 28, 1963 in Las Animas, CO. and has lived in Amarillo for the last 35 years.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jesse Ramon of Amarillo, two sons Melvin Ramon of Canyon and Pepper Ramon of Amarillo. Also left behind are her six grandchildren and six great grandchildren as well as two sisters Alta Mae Brown of Las Animas, CO and Charlene Thompson of Canyon and a brother Melvin Ray Winters of Stratford, TX.
